We are thrilled to share that the new turf project at the Doug White Fields at CCHS has been completed. This project was completed on time, in budget, and includes a Shock Pad under-layer for additional safety and performance!

These fields will benefit children in our community for years to come, providing a safe and high-quality space for sports, recreation, and healthy activity.

We are hoping to raise $200,000 to seed the fund for replacement of the next turf 10-12 years from now. This is crucial to the future of the Doug White field complex for three reasons:

User fee accessibility - Each sport user group contributes $40 per player per season to the amortization and maintenance fund. Even as we will most likely need to increase this contribution to prepare for future inflation, we would like to keep pricing at a level accessible to all our families. Seeding the fund makes it easier for us to do so.
Shorter replacement cycle going forward - We have been using the current fields for almost 15 years. The last couple of years showed significant wear and tear. We will likely need to replace this new turf earlier, but will need the funds to do so
Higher maintenance costs - Fields with pads require more frequent maintenance, and we are responsible for paying for all Doug White field maintenance costs

Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our goal of maintaining a safe and modern field for our kids.

All donations will go to the Friends of Concord Carlisle Playing Fields (EIN: 51-0614691), a 501(c)(3) created in 2007 for the purposes of funding the Doug White Fields. As such, donations may be tax deductible.
