Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company is preparing for our 2025 Season and beyond! We have exciting plans, and lots to look forward to in the works, and we need your support.

WETC has always prided itself for being able to do two things at the same time: producing great art and to not just work with amazing actors, artists, and technicians, but to also pay them for their amazing work. As WETC does not have a physical theatre, our biggest expense for every show is just that: being able to pay the wonderful people we work with.

That said, we are also trying to broaden how we do both those things: by making smaller, shorter content between our mainstage shows, and by continuing to pay all performers and crew involved. As always, this requires money, which WETC is running low on generally, not just when it comes specifically to our Spring show. We are also in need of personnel, and some of them will also be paid for their work.

This fundraiser is specifically targeted at raising 80% of our projected budget for our Spring plans, so that we can hit the ground running. This fundraiser is being done without tiers, and every dollar helps. Without your generosity, we cannot make the art we do.

About Worlds Elsewhere

Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company was established during the COVID-19 pandemic by a group of friends in the theatre and related industries, who suddenly found themselves without work. In the time since, Worlds Elsewhere has become a world-wide, online local theatre, working with actors and crew from all over the globe, with all manner of backgrounds, with the shared goal of making innovative, engaging live theatre experiences accessible to all, without the barriers of distance.

We believe in the power of theatre to bring strength and comfort in times of distress, and to act as a force for social progress. We support the values of social justice, diversity, inclusion and charity. While our founders and majority of our Repertory company are U.S-based, our support for universal human rights and dignity knows no borders.

Your donation will support paying our performers and crew members for our performances, the acquisition of script and media rights, our legal fees for maintaining the theatre, and the technical infrastructure involved in maintaining our company. At present, every dollar goes towards ensuring we can produce the best shows possible; all administrative staff are unpaid volunteers, who donate their time to this same goal, so you can be sure that your money is going directly to the creation of accessible, diverse, theatrical productions.
