"Badly Drawn Pets"

OUR BOARD MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS HAVE RUN AMUCK! THEY ARE FEELING SPRING AND WANT TO CREATE ALL THE THINGS NOW THAT THE WEATHER IS TURNING. THEY WANT A CHANCE TO vanGOGH BACK TO THEIR ARTIST ROOTS AND HOPE TO RAISE SOME MONET FOR THE NEW BUILDING.

How It Works:

Donate $25 to submit a photo of your pet for our PAWSOME artists to attempt to recreate. Once donated, submit your photo to gchsfundraisingwi@gmail.com with your name and pet's name. Submit from April 1-15. A separate donation will need to be made for each pet you would like to submit.

On April 24th 6:00 PM join us for a Facebook Live event as we create our artwork and answer any and all questions for the GCHS you might have.

The following week all original and newly designed portraits will be posted on Facebook.

The Grant County Humane Society has had quite a journey. We have been the 'pound' entity in Grant County Wisconsin for over 40 years. Since the early 1970s we have been taking in at large dogs, housing them until they are claimed by their owners or keeping them and finding them furever homes.

In 2014 we moved with Lancaster Veterinary Clinic into Lancaster WI and since then, have been also taking surrendered animals and cats, birds, guinea pigs, you name it to help these animals and their people. We became a not for profit at that time and have been growing ever since.

We have rehomed over 2000 animals since we became a nonprofit in 2014. We are out growing our facilities. We are looking for donations for a capital campaign and building as well as general day to day upkeep and treatment for our animals. The impact we have had on the people and animals of Southwest Wisconsin is seen every day in the joy and happy smiles of the people and animals we connect.
