Homeward Trails is a nonprofit that has rescued tens of thousands of animals. Join us for a fun night of drinks, food, and connecting with like-minded individuals at a top 100 Chinese restaurant. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the animals at Homeward Trails.

Founded in 2002, Homeward Trails Animal Rescue secures temporary and permanent homes for thousands of dogs and cats annually who are rescued from under-resourced communities and shelters or whose owners can no longer care for them. While most of their animals come from the mid-Atlantic region, they also rescue animals internationally and have partners in countries across the globe.

You will also hear from DC Voters for Animals about the recent campaign to pass the Pets in Housing Act--a bill to make housing more inclusive for people with pets with elements like capping pet rents and banning breed discrimination. DCVFA works to lift up the politicians and policy makers doing the most for animals and our community.
