On October 25th, 2009 our family changed forever. Our Nikki took his life and on that day he changed the lives of all of us. I will forever miss him. I know one day the lord will bring us back together and I get to see his smile and hear his infectious laugh.
As the years have passed there has not been one day where his name has not been mentioned or the loss of him has not been felt. We have learned to live without his physical presence but our memories will never be taken away.
On September 14th please join me in walking to end suicide and the stigma of mental illness. The walk starts at 8:45 with a memorial and the walk following. I walk for Nik, my father and my Uncle George. I walk for all of us.
