ABOUT TEAM EE

By raising funds through fitness events, members of Team EE play a huge role in our SPRINT to speed breakthroughs for the final 10% of people with cystic fibrosis. Each year we host a variety of fitness activities - from races to workout classes - all in the name of accelerating research and drug development for CF.

As a member of EE's Philly Marathon team, you will pledge to raise the following before race weekend:

Full Marathon Runner - $1,500 goal
Half Marathon Runner - $750 goal
8k Runner - $500 goal

Recently, there have been revolutionary scientific advancements for 90% of people with CF, but for the remaining 10% of the community, there is still nothing. EE is laser-focused on changing that and doing it quickly. We’re in a full-on SPRINT to speed breakthroughs for the final 10% of people with CF! Will you join us?

Emily's Entourage is an innovative 501(c)3 foundation that speeds lifesaving research and drug development for individuals in the final 10% of the cystic fibrosis (CF) community that do not benefit from currently available mutation-targeted therapies, including those with nonsense mutations of CF. Cystic fibrosis, a fatal genetic disease primarily afflicting the lungs and digestive system. Since 2011, Emily's Entourage has awarded millions of dollars in research grants, launched a CF gene therapy company acquired by a large pharmaceutical company, developed a patient registry and clinical trial matchmaking program to accelerate clinical trial recruitment, and led worldwide efforts to drive high-impact research and drug development.
