This December our team will take on one of our most ambitious challenge yet — an expedition to summit Pico de Orizaba, the tallest mountain in Mexico at 18,491 feet.

Every dollar raised from this climb will go directly toward paying medical bills for families with a child battling cancer. Through your generosity, we’re able to provide real, immediate relief to families who need it most.

Our climbing team — Ryan Kelley, Jamie Becker, and Michael McKinley will head to Mexico on December 2nd, aiming to reach Pico’s summit on December 7th. They’ll be supported by foundation board members Keith Austin, Lance and Taylor McOlgan, Tracy Kelley, and “Poko”, who will assist the team with logistics, fundraising and document the journey along the way.

This climb continues a tradition that began in 2015 with our first Climb for the Kids on Mount Rainier. Over the years, our climbs have raised more than $500,000 to help children and families facing unimaginable challenges.
