FilmGood Fridays, an initiative from WalkGood LA’s FilmGood organization and festival dedicated to celebrating independent and underrepresented filmmakers, creators, and artists of color, is thrilled to continue its repertory screening program, themed "Quarter Century Series: A Celebration of Cult Classics from the ‘99 and the 2000," on Friday, July 18, 2025 at The WalkGood Yard. This time, we will feature a true classic among classics, The Best Man.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, this 1999 heartfelt comedy-drama reunites a tight-knit group of college friends for a wedding in New York City. As long-simmering tensions emerge, old flames, loyalty, and secrets, the film delivers both an emotional storyline and genuine laughs you are bound to enjoy.
