Autistic individuals in Minnesota face significant challenges, including unemployment, isolation, mental illness, discrimination, and inadequate support systems. At the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM), we’ve been committed to changing this reality for over 50 years. Our track record speaks for itself, and so do our supporters:

We prioritize autistic voices at every level of our organization to ensure our programs and advocacy efforts address the needs our community identifies as most critical. We offer high-quality programs, events, therapy, and resources that provide immediate support while advocating for long-term, systemic change. When challenges arise that we cannot solve alone, we build partnerships to strengthen our collective impact.

But the demand for our services continues to grow beyond our current capacity. Many in our community still wait too long for therapy and assessments. Others face barriers to accessing events due to financial constraints or a lack of accommodations. Adults struggle with a lack of services and connections. Every day, our staff work tirelessly to provide the support our community needs, but we need your help to meet the demand.
