The 25th Brigade

Pokrovsk continues to be some of the hardest fighting in Ukraine, unfortunately with some of the highest Ukrainian losses. The 25th Brigade needs even more help after a recent attack, which is why this week's raffle is earmarked for them.

We're sure you've noticed that the 25th is one of our main partners; that's because the 25th has proven themselves to be reliable and incredibly effective. Because of that effectiveness, the 25th has consistently been assigned to the most difficult fighting.

The 63rd and 95th thank you for their generator and powerbank, respectively.

The 79th and the Pomsta Brigade also extend their gratitude for the tacmed. It never ceases to amaze me just how expensive tacmed actually is: good, quality tacmed, specifically. The tourniquets we buy from the USA at $24 each are not cheap, but the medics in Ukraine tell us that they don't break like the other cheap "stuff" on the market. The chest seals that the 79th soldier is holding costs $12 each, but we know that their adhesive will actually stick, unlike some of the other chest seals that Ukrainians have access to. Note that the costs listed are our discounted costs; the public price is substantially higher.

Life saving gear is not the thing you want to buy from Chinese knock-off companies. The russians may not care about their soldiers, but we do.

$2 TACO Tuesday

This week's $2 pack is really awesome (in my opinion). The star of the show is a beautiful beaded gerdan. This decorative necklace is 60 cm long and still makes UFL_Robin giggle that Arcaist and I originally thought it was a wall hanging. In our defense, we aren't fashionistas, so I think it was an understandable mistake. Two Ukrainian patches and a pack of Ukrainian stickers (signed by a member of the 25th drone team) fill out this $2 pack.

$5 pack

This is a special pack. The bomber drone unit of the 25th donated their unit's hoodie and sticker to go along with the 25th's drone unit signed flag and patch. UFL_Arcaist wanted me to emphasize that the size "L" hoodie is very thick! The Echo company of the 25th has done masterful work, and is renown around Pokrovsk for their ability.

In closing:

It is hard to not get desensitized when every week one sees more russian attacks against civilians and incessant, relentless pressure on the front line units. I struggle with the numbing effect of this incredibly long and brutal war, but speaking with my Ukrainian friends and connecting with you, the people who make UFL possible, keeps me focused.
