Jen Martin's Story
Cancer has crossed most of our paths either directly or indirectly. Some of us receive treatment and carry on. Others fight as hard and as long as they can only to lose the battle. We need a cure and that requires more research.
I have been training for the 2023 Boston Marathon since December and am ready to take on Heartbreak Hill in a few weeks. It is my honor to be running this marathon in support of Shannon's Path as a member of its fundraising team. This local, family-run, non-profit organization was inspired by former beloved Southborough resident Shannon McDonald and seeks to fund rare cancer research and to support integrative cancer care for those impacted by diseases similar to hers.
