The Pilipino Association for Health Careers started through a group of students who recognized the need for a support system among Cal pre-health students.

PAHC aims to promote and educate on current health-related issues in and around our Pilipino and extended communities. We develop a structure of dedicated students who integrate their knowledge, experience, and skills to seek information on various health issues and careers.

NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR FILIPINO CONCERNS (NAFCON)

NAFCON is a national multi-issue alliance of Filipino organizations, institutions, and individuals that responds to the concerns of Filipinos in the US and in the Philippines by creating a platform that brings people together through culture & heritage, education, health & wellness, and advocacy.

Promote the vision of a free, comprehensive, and progressive health care in the US and PH

Advance projects that support Community-Based Health programming in the US that services Filipinos and broaden the partnerships and collaboration
Address the socio-economic and political factors affecting health and livelihood through advocacy in the US and PH

THE LEAGUE OF FILIPINO STUDENTS AT UC BERKELEY

The League of Filipino Students at UC Berkeley Chapter Organizing Committee (COC) is an anti-imperialist grassroots organization of Filipino student youth (and our allies) committed to fighting for National Democracy in the Philippines.

Partnered organization: Liyang Network - Uplifts and supports the Lumad (indigenous) communities of Mindanao in the Philippines.

Fundraiser: Health Services Relief effort for farmers and workers in Mindanao.
- Bring mobile medical & diagnostic lab clinics for early detection of diseases and viruses, maternal and infant care, and the distribution of basic medicines and vitamins.
- To battle misinformation - hold information drives to disseminate culturally relevant and accurate education
