As we step into 2025, we invite you to support The Shades of Motherhood Network in making a lasting impact through the 4th Annual Black Maternal Health Awareness Week. This year’s theme, 'Mothers of Modern Gynecology: Anarcha, Betsy, and Lucy,' honors the courageous women who paved the way for advancements in gynecological care. With your help, we aim to raise $100,000 to support education, advocacy, and cultural awareness efforts addressing the healthcare disparities affecting Black mothers. Together, we can elevate Black maternal health, crush the crisis, and ensure that every mother’s journey is celebrated and supported.

Black mothers and mothers of babies of color in the United States are still facing significant problems during childbirth due to a lack of resources and support. We’ve established The Shades of Motherhood Network to fill in this gap by providing innovative resources like peer support groups, empowering community workshops, and comprehensive doula care.
