While in the aftercare program they need is $800/mo for room & board, and necessities. This fund is to help meet one months goal. Xey are multiply disabled, with low vision, and had lost xeir job to institutional violence, so any help goes a long way!

Psych Ward Violence & Organizing

While xey were in the psych portion, xey have been organizing with other patients to get better treatment within the facility.

Hard -er slurs have been weaponized.
There are people sick with COVID, and no COVID tests available.
The food has been commented by patients who were previously incarcerated as being worse than what was provided to them in prison.
Bathrooms are unsanitary, and very scarce. 12 people per bathroom.
Some patients are in active psychosis are uncared for. There are barely any med staff, and the facilitators are resisting on providing appointments.
Staff kick people out of care while keeping your things for 24hrs, with no ride or call given, forcing patients to find their own way to safety.
There are cameras everywhere, and the only available phones are directly next to RC (CO's) desk.
