Tashi Delek Vajra Family,

We are reaching out with an urgent request to support our beloved Chicago Ratna Shri Sangha Dharma Center (CRSS). As many of you know, our center is a place of refuge, practice, and spiritual growth—a vital hub for our community. Unfortunately, we are currently facing some unforeseen challenges that require immediate attention.

Due to significant water damage from a leak in the upstairs bathroom, crucial repairs are underway to restore the integrity of our space. This work involves extensive renovations to the plumbing, walls, and ceilings to ensure the safety and continued function of our center.

The repairs include:

Complete overhaul of both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, including new plumbing, tile, and fixtures
Replacement of old galvanized pipes with copper, and cast iron pipes with PVC
Renovation of drainage systems and ceiling repairs in a bedroom

These necessary updates will help protect our center from further damage and ensure that CRSS remains a sanctuary for all who come to practice and learn.

How You Can Help:

We are turning to you, our community, for support. Thanks to the generosity of several benefactors—Phoenix, Deana, Karen, Justin, Przemyk, Irina, J, Mary, Matt and very kind Anonymous Supporters—who have already donated a total of $8,250, we are well on our way. However, we still need $5,250 to complete the repairs.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal. Your support will directly fund these critical repairs, helping us restore and preserve the heart of our community.

Donate now through GIVE BUTTER which has options to donate via PayPal, credit card, Venmo, or Apple Pay.

Together, we can ensure that the Dharma continues to thrive at CRSS. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and for any support you can offer in this vital effort.

Thank you for being part of this important project to maintain and strengthen our center. We couldn’t do it without you!

With deep gratitude,
The Chicago Ratna Shri Sangha Team
