Dear valued supporters!

Buck has been dealing with a bad case of colic all day. Dr. Beagle from Equine Wellness in Cocoa has been out on an emergency visit twice today and has now placed Buck in the status of critical and he will not make it through the night without emergency veterinary care. Dr. Beagle called ahead to Equine Medical Center of Ocala and we're going to proceed with emergency transport right away. Dr. Christine Jenkins has been gracious enough to trailer and drive Buck while our team follows behind. We just spoke with the team at Equine Medical and the preliminary costs of care will range from $8,000-$9,000 for surgery, with the likelihood of costs exceeding $15,000. Romelia Farms is committed to our mission, but we cant do it without the support of our community. No size donation is too small to help contribute to emergency surgery for our Buck.
