Making a Difference - Healing Kibbutz Kfar Aza!

Netivot 5th Graders are very excited to launch a fundraising campaign to help make a difference for those in need in Israel. As a result of the horrific terrorist attacks on 7 October 2023, our class chose to support our family in Israel.

Kibbutz Kfar Aza was one of the communities most impacted by the invasion. A year has passed, and the residents still have no clear timeline for their return home. Though we cannot know the full depth of their pain and suffering, we can embrace them with our loving kindness to help them heal.

Our class is raising funds and awareness to help provide materials needed to create a Healing Arts Center in loving memory of Livnat Kutz and Nadav Amikam, who were murdered during the assault.

The art center will provide stability and activities, serving as a reliable resource for residents’ mental health and well-being. Offering a variety of art workshops, the center will serve as a sanctuary for creativity and healing.
