8 Reasons Y

The Metro YMCA supports seven YMCA’s throughout northern NJ and together, all 8 teams share a mission within our communities; providing a safe space to learn, socialize with your neighbors, and strengthen body and mind, REGARDLESS OF INDIVIDUALS’ ABILITY TO PAY!

There are hundreds of reasons to support the programs at each YMCA.

This #GIVINGTUESDAY, we’re mobilizing all of our YMCA communities to help raise $8,000 toward one goal: funding programs and services for families and individuals at each location that need the Y’s support. That means additional community members will be able to take advantage of the life changing services provided by your YMCA.

How to Participate

On November 30th, share with 8 friends or family members a “Reason Y” you support the YMCA (social media, text, phone, email, face to face, etc.).

Join a team on our GiveButter platform.
Using the social share buttons, share on your social media accounts.
Download and use these graphics and post on your social account(s).

Use one of these messages per social post. Feel free to post multiple messages, multiple times.
