Sadie Nash Leadership Project (SNLP) redefines leadership by centering the young people who are most often excluded from access to power. Our mission is to strengthen, empower, and equip young women and gender-expansive youth of color as agents for change in their lives and in the world. We create liberatory spaces for these young people–known as “Nashers”–to build power and connections, speak their truth, and shape the systems that affect their lives.

Over 20 years, we have provided more than 10,000 young people with leadership and community building programs that inspire, uplift, and empower them. We serve approximately 700 young people across New York City and Newark, New Jersey annually. We ensure these young leaders have the skills and opportunities to reach their full potential and provide them with the tools and guidance to pursue their dreams, while addressing crucial social justice issues that profoundly impact them and their communities.
