Join us for Giant Bananagrams, a unique literary event for all ages!

Get ready to Go Bananas for Lake Erie Ink! Join us for an afternoon of creative word play at the 12th annual GIANT Bananagrams Tournament at Cleveland Heights High School on Saturday, April 5th, 2025.

Inspired by the fast-paced, Scrabble-like word game, GIANT Bananagrams brings together teams of 2-5 players to compete on a 30x30 foot board in front of a large audience with a guest emcee. This event requires quick thinking, love of language, and teamwork as groups scramble to be the first to turn their letters into words.

Each team needs to raise $500 to play. Get your friends together to start a team, and then reach out to your networks to help you hit your fundraising goal!

This in-person event will take place at Cleveland Heights High School from 1-3PM on Saturday, April 5th, 2025.

Play With Us!

Can't join us on April 5th? You can still be part of GIANT Bananagrams! Enter our Giant Bananagrams Raffle starting March 1 for your chance to win awesome gift baskets from local merchants. We will announce the winners at Giant Bananagrams. You do not need to attend the event to win.
