"My journey with Freeflow was as multidimensional as one can imagine. As a cohort, a small group of writers, thinkers, artists gathered to engage our minds, spirits and bodies together, and all at once....While learning about the extractive and human-centered damming practices of our capitalist colonial state we floated, maneuvered, ran aground, and with our bodies, negotiated with, the river in its altered state…We recognized our smallness and vulnerability while gazing up at immutable canyon walls.
