South Jeffco Children’s Theatre is a self-supported theatre program in Jeffco Public Schools. We are in our 15th year, and based in Mortensen Elementary School. We provide musical theatre performance opportunities for children in grades 3 through nine, and are well-supported by our wider community of family, students, educators, and administration.

Our budget does not come from the school district but costs are offset by tuition, donations, and public fundraisers. Mr. Chorney, our former music teacher and music director for SJCT, has lovingly handmade a guitar that he is offering for a raffle to support our program. We are raising funds to help offset some of the cost associated with running the program. These costs include materials for set and prop building, costumes, and professional consultations. This program is very near and dear to the hearts of South Jeffco, and greatly appreciate all the support from our amazing community members.
