For kids with physical disability the built world (everything from curb cuts to door knobs) hinders freedom, movement, and play. But, when a playground is built to be fully accessible and truly inclusive, it becomes a joyful space where we can be equal members of a community, move freely, make friends, and experience the dignity of play. We have had the opportunity to share our lived experience with the playground committee and Concord leadership, and are hopeful this playground will offer the town beautiful and equitable fun. Please join our efforts to create a space for joy and togetherness.
