Student Television Network is the place to be for the future of media. After winning the top prize at the JEA/NSPA conference last year, students are determined to take on the competition at the next level: a video-only media conference. While students will compete with the best programs in the country, they will also meet with industry leading professionals and network with colleges.

This project enhances the existing curriculum because it exposes students to connections that the program currently does not have. It also allows them to receive feedback and recognition for their work, allowing them to learn and grow.

We will know the goals have been accomplished when we compete and the results are in! This will allow us to build on learning this and toward the following year, as the conference is in March.

WHO ARE WE?

The Oakwood Schools Foundation supports and enhances the education of Oakwood students through scholarships, grants, educational programs, and capital enhancements. The Oakwood Schools Foundation was founded in 1981. To date, more than $1,000,000 has been granted from the Foundation to support students in the Oakwood Schools. The Oakwood Schools Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is a component fund of The Dayton Foundation.
