Thailand Healing Space.

After the devastating attack on October 7th and the loss of our best friend at the Nova music festival, a group of friends in their 20s came together to make a difference. Within 24 hours, we had a plane on its way to Israel. Over the past ten months, we have supported 20,000 soldiers, and 50,000 civilians, and created content viewed by over 50 million people worldwide. Now, in the face of an immediate and growing mental health crisis in Israel, we have committed ourselves to addressing this pressing need.

The Numbers.

The Challenge.

A society-wide traumatic event like Oct. 7th, and the aftermath of war, hostages, refugees, and missile threats, creates environmental and sociological conditions that conspire against those that desperately need to heal. Those precious souls are the backbone of Israel’s tomorrow. Their healing, and the country’s healing, is the same, and the clock is ticking.

Why Thailand?

To heal, trauma victims frequently need to escape the environment where the event transpired temporarily. Since Oct. 7th, over 100,000 Israelis have left the country for Thailand. In April alone, over 24,000 left for Thailand, many of them carrying serious trauma and are at acute risk for a mental health crisis.

In the words of Rabbi Nechemia, Director of Chabad Thailand Services, “These people are arriving in large numbers, they’re headed down a dark hallway, and the time for intervention and help is now.”

The Let’s Do Something Response.

While trauma victims may need to distance themselves from one environment, they don’t just need a different place, they need a place equipped for healing. This is why we created David’s Circle.

We just launched David's Circle in Thailand with a leading trauma specialist and IDF social worker with vast front-line experience. David’s Circle is a unique sanctuary offering critical, multidisciplinary care and support to guide the wounded souls of soldiers, Nova survivors, family members, and others on their journey to recovery, and ultimately on their journey home.

Our mission is to safeguard the future of Israel by providing a healing space for young Israelis that nourishes resilience, prevents PTSD, and establishes a framework for sustained trauma research.

Share: Listen, embrace, and assess needs.
Guide: Provide a range of modalities, classes, and experiences promoting healing and resilience.
Support: Intake, guidance, long-term support, and longitudinal PTSD research.
