Thank you for your support of the West Henderson HS Band Program. In addition to providing a comprehensive music education, we seek to instill the values of pride, dedication, conscientiousness, and excellence into all of our students.

Your donation supports the Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. These funds will be used for concert uniforms, instrument repairs, travel expenses, equipment, and contest registrations. Membership in concert programs during the school day is completely free. Students are provided with large instruments and formal wear for the concerts at no charge. This donation drive ensures that all students have access to a high quality band experience at no cost.

In addition to our competitive marching performances in the fall and our judged concert and jazz performances in the spring, we will also be traveling to Philadelphia to hear the world renowned Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.

The West Henderson HS Band has a consistent record of success with many 1st place and Grand Champion awards in marching band as well as Superior Ratings in concert adjudication. Many students audition and are accepted into All County, All District, and All State honor bands. Students also participate in Small Ensemble adjudicated performances as well as adjudicated Jazz Band performances, all of which earn Superior Ratings. The band appears at large community events such as local parades, football games, graduation, and also enjoys performing for elementary schools.

This will be our only donation drive for the year and we are grateful for your support.
