Since 2014, the NEIC has promoted civil rights, economic self-sufficiency, and environmental protections for local New England communities.

The NEIC is proud to announce its returning role in organizing the 2026 Boston People's March!

This year's Boston People's March will take place on January 17th at 11:00AM-12:00PM, on the Boston Common Parade Grounds (corner of Beacon & Charles).

It will feature a Speaker Series hosted by returning emcee Casi Kristant and include speeches by many heavy hitters for defending democracy including Boston city councilors Sharon Durkan & Julia Mejia, Ed Shoemaker of Voter Choice Massachusetts, Sera Kouladbara of Legacies of War, actress Amy Brenneman of the Center for Reproductive Rights, Raeda Baird of WPI, and more!

There will also be a half-time show performed by rapper Fari X!

With reproductive rights under onslaught, anti-LGBT legislation running rampant, our immigrant neighbors being terrorized, labor rights & protections being attacked, endless forays into militarist jingoism, all capped off by an increasingly autocratic regime characterized by lawless corruption and cruelty, the time to act is now.

March with us on the Common and demonstrate that the people united can never be divided!
