HPN4Tigray, in partnership with medical teaching institutions in Tigray and other stakeholders, is launching a scholarship program to help health professionals advance their clinical skills and broaden their professional networks. Your support will help provide essential medical care to the people of Tigray and rebuild its health sector.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 annually to support two crucial initiatives:

1. Subspecialty Training Scholarships: $25,000/year ($12,500 x 2 awardees)

These will provide financial support for a selected candidate physician to pursue specialty fellowship training outside Ethiopia, e.g. India, to empower them to address critical medical needs and build new clinical programs in Tigray.

2. International Travel Grants: $5,000/year ($2,500 x 2 awardees)

These will facilitate the participation of Tigrayan physicians and public health professionals at international conferences, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting the building of professional networks, crucial for advancing healthcare practices and creating new international collaborations.

Selection Process:

Awardees will be selected by a committee of representatives from HPN4Tigray and partnering institutions based on their clinical or professional excellence and leadership potential, ensuring fair evaluation and accountability.
