As part of this year's AAMFT Leadership Symposium, MFT volunteers will be participating in an outreach activity with Love Your Neighbor NOLA, a non-profit based in New Orleans, LA focused on a mission of disrupting the cycle of community violence and trauma by being catalysts for family-centered change.

Love Your Neighbor NOLA's Building Functional Families program is designed to provide caregivers with essential needs for raising young children including diapers, wipes, clothing, nursing items, car seats, and more. During its bi-weekly distributions, staff and volunteers connect with those in the community to discuss needs, distribute tangible assets, and connect with other needed services.

On Friday, March 10, AAMFT Leadership Symposium attendees will be volunteering at Love Your Neighbor NOLA's bi-weekly distribution day. AAMFT is raising funds for supply donations and offering a matching grant up to $1,500 for all donations made by MFTs through March 4.
