Through the generosity and commitment of our friends and community, the Austin Book Arts Center is now celebrating its 10th anniversary! We need your help TODAY to ensure that ABAC can continue to provide vital programming in the art of making books for people of all ages.

As the year ends, many of us feel the weight of uncertainty, division, and flux. ABAC also faces uncertainty. Registrations are significantly down, while our costs continue to go up. ABAC is the only non-profit organization of its kind in Texas. Your support makes the statement that the Austin Book Arts Center has something fundamentally unique to offer and is worth preserving and supporting.

Each year the Austin Book Arts Center provides free or low-cost programming to thousands of individuals in Central Texas and beyond. Your contribution will go toward:

Developing high-quality and meaningful WORKSHOPS in the art of the book, both in-person and virtually.
Supporting the OPEN STUDIO program - inviting more people to access the fully-equipped bindery and printshop.
Conducting OUTREACH in the community to elevate the book arts as a more accessible medium for creativity and self-expression.
Developing programs that further our shared conviction that there is healing though making art.

The Austin Book Arts Center is a non-profit makerspace. We rely on charitable donations to continue to offer affordable or free programming to central Texas and beyond! Since our founding in 2015, ABAC has provided a meaningful connection to community, including developing bilingual KITS & VIDEOS for K-12 teachers and students. Help us continue the momentum in creating vital programming and spreading the good news of the book arts to an even greater audience!
