ABW Service Project with Reproductive Equity Now
Saturday, March 23rd, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EDT
On Saturday, March 23rd, Calling All Crows volunteers will gather for an afternoon of service and learning with Reproductive Equity Now. Reproductive Equity Now (REN) is a New England regional organization working to make equitable access to the full spectrum of reproductive health care a reality for all people. As part of our service day, Reproductive Equity Now will host a special training for Calling All Crows volunteers covering everything they’ll need to know to jumpstart their abortion advocacy: abortion care 101, how to talk about abortion like an advocate, how to access abortion care, how to identify (and avoid) dangerous anti-abortion centers, and ways YOU can help ensure reproductive equity for all. After this special training, volunteers will take part in “service stations” where they’ll be trained on spreading awareness and access to local abortion care, write letters of appreciation to abortion providers, and calling their local legislators about pending reproductive equity legislation. We will gather from 1-3 PM EST at the Raytheon Theater at Northeastern University! 360 Huntington Ave, 240 Egan Boston, MA 02115 United States
