The Alabama Coalition For Healthy Mothers And Children is a not-for-profit organization that works in partnerships with all people, helping agencies, ministries and organizations who assist mothers and children in Alabama as they seek to better their lives, overcome poverty and improve their own lives and the lives of their families.

Our dream is that partners would grow and be more successful in their missions through these efforts.

When you join the ACHMC Ambassador Program, you can make a difference for mothers and children in Alabama for months to come!

The Ambassador Program is the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children’s monthly giving program—an easy, powerful way for caring community members like you to support our cause on a regular basis. It’s a rewarding way to make an impact and help us to assist mothers and children in Alabama as they seek to better their lives, overcome poverty and improve their own lives and the lives of their families in a sustainable way.

Our Ambassador Program members are known as ambassadors in recognition of your willingness to partner with us, invest in our mission, and to be active ambassadors in your community for ACHMC and the mothers and children of Alabama. At least four times a year current Ambassadors will be invited to an online Ambassador Forum where you will have the opportunity to learn about a current issue facing Alabama mothers and children from an expert on that issue, followed by a time of questions. At the end of each forum, ambassadors will be given a "call to action" with practical action points for individuals, groups, churches, and others to take action to address the topic discussed by our guests. The Ambassador Program allows you to not only support the ongoing work of the Coalition, but to thoughtfully have an impact in your local community to better the lives of mothers and children in your neighborhood.

Every month, donations from our Ambassador Program enable us to:

Maintain our online resource bank and app, helping mothers and children find the resources they need to thrive, regardless of where in Alabama they might live.
Strengthen our partnerships with local resource providers across the state, working to grow and offer assistance in sustainable work around the state.
Educate the public and advocate for current issues impacting the lives of mothers and children across the state of Alabama.
