Help Greater Tampa Bay Families Rebuild After the 2024 Hurricanes

It's been more than two years since Hurricanes Helene and Milton impacted our communities, yet many families throughout Greater Tampa Bay are still struggling to recover.

Seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and working families continue to face damaged roofs, mold, unsafe flooring, exposed walls, and other storm-related conditions that make their homes difficult or unsafe to live in.

Hurricane Help Florida (HHF) is working to change that.

Through its Hope Rising Recovery Program, HHF helps homeowners who do not have the financial resources to complete essential repairs. The organization also provides free hurricane preparedness resources and connects residents with trusted, non-emergency storm assistance through StormResQ.

Your donation can help provide:

· Safe, livable homes: Essential roofing, drywall, flooring, electrical, and plumbing repairs.

· Healthier living conditions: Mold remediation to address unsafe conditions.

· Essential household needs: Furniture and basic household items to help families regain stability.

· Hurricane preparedness: Education and resources to help residents better prepare for future storms.

Why Your Donation Matters

While HHF receives grant funding for eligible recovery projects, reimbursement can take up to 90 days. In the meantime, contractors and repair expenses must be paid upfront.

Community donations help bridge that gap, allowing critical repairs to continue without unnecessary delays.

Greater Tampa Bay ACP Is Proud to Support Hurricane Help Florida

The Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP) has selected Hurricane Help Florida as our charitable organization for our November 2026 Holiday Luncheon and our 5th Annual Resilience Conference on January 29, 2027.

As professionals dedicated to preparedness, business continuity, and resilience, we understand that recovery doesn't end when the storm passes. For many families, it's a long road back.

We invite our chapter members, conference attendees, friends, colleagues, and community partners to join us in supporting this important work.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps Hurricane Help Florida continue its mission of making homes safe and helping families move forward.

Please consider making a donation today.

Thank you for helping our Greater Tampa Bay neighbors recover, rebuild, and prepare for what comes next.
