Run for Team AFA at the 50th Marine Corps Marathon!

Run or donate to fuel AFA’s mission—providing life-changing support, services, and education to families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia, while funding research for better treatment and a cure.

Want to Run with AFA? Here's What You Need to Know:

1️⃣ Entry Fee: Runners agree to pay their own entry ($220)

2️⃣ Fundraising Commitment: Runners commit to fundraising a minimum of $700 (with the help of AFA staff)

PLEASE NOTE: If you haven’t reached $700 by October 26, 2025, the remaining balance will be charged to your card on file

3️⃣ Registration: CLICK HERE to register. Once registered, a member of the AFA team will be in touch with next steps for setting up your fundraising page and further information. Spots are first-come, first-served.

Registration Cost: $220 (until April 14), $240 (after April 14)

Get Expert Guidance from Marathon Mentor Dennis Beggs

When you run with Team AFA, you’ll receive support from running mentor Dennis Beggs, a highly-accomplished marathoner.

Dennis has completed 63 marathons, including all Six Major Marathons in less than a year, and most recently, he completed the World Marathon Challenge—running seven marathons on seven continents in just seven days. He is one of only 184 runners worldwide to achieve this remarkable feat.

As part of Team AFA, you’ll have the opportunity to meet virtually with Dennis for marathon advice, training tips, and motivation to help you reach your race day goals.
