More Than Gratitude. A Foundation for Lasting Support.

“Thank you for your service” should lead to something people can use: clear information, practical support, meaningful connection, and a path forward.

Americanus Fidelis Lupus (AFL) — The Loyal American Wolf — is building toward that mission for service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Right now, this campaign supports website resources and organizational development. Your contribution helps AFL build the information, tools, and organizational foundation needed to move its mission forward.

What Your Donation Supports Today

Trusted website resources

Developing and maintaining accessible guides, practical tools, and information that helps people understand benefits, explore support options, and find official sources and qualified assistance.

The goal is straightforward: make useful information easier to find, understand, and act on.

Organizational development

Strengthening AFL’s planning, processes, and capacity to develop its work responsibly and support future growth.

This foundational work may be less visible than a building, but it matters. A lasting mission needs an organization capable of carrying it forward.

One Mission. Two Connected Foundations.

The Epicenter: A Clearer Path Forward

The Epicenter is AFL’s digital resource hub: a place for vetted information, practical tools, and pathways to support.

Building these website resources is a current focus of this campaign. AFL’s educational materials help people understand their options and connect with appropriate assistance; they do not replace official agency guidance or individualized professional advice.

The Sanctuary: A Long-Term Vision

AFL’s long-term vision is a 100+ acre, family-centered sanctuary where people who have carried the weight of service can reconnect through nature, community, and purpose.

The envisioned Sanctuary includes family lodging, shared spaces, outdoor activities, animal-assisted programs, benefits education, and support for people affected by cancer and their caregivers.

These are future plans, not services currently available through The Sanctuary. Their development will depend on funding, property, planning, qualified personnel, and applicable requirements.

Our goal is to make future Sanctuary lodging and programming available without charge to participating families. Building the foundation for that vision starts with the work we can do today.

Why the Whole Family Matters

Service affects more than the person in uniform.

Spouses, children, parents, and caregivers can carry the uncertainty, transitions, and demands alongside them. AFL’s mission recognizes those experiences and includes families in its vision for support.

We believe gratitude should translate into useful resources today and stronger possibilities for tomorrow.

Where We Are Now

AFL is developing its website resources and organizational foundation.

The broader Sanctuary vision carries a long-term fundraising goal of $5 million. That future goal is distinct from this campaign’s current focus on website resources and organizational development.

We want donors to understand both what they are supporting now and what AFL hopes to build over time.

Help Build What Comes Next

Your donation supports AFL’s current foundational work.

You can also help by sharing the campaign, introducing others to AFL, and telling service members, veterans, first responders, and families about the resources being developed.

Help turn gratitude into practical support. Donate to build AFL’s foundation.
