Hey, caregivers! Let’s take a little time outside of appointments, hospital stays, therapies, and caregiving routines to connect with people who understand.

The goal of The Apricity Hope Project’s Take 5 Program is to encourage caregivers of medically complex and disabled children to take at least five minutes for themselves.

Through Take 5, we create intentional opportunities for caregivers and families to rest, connect, learn, and make meaningful memories. Experiences may include caregiver gatherings, family events, resource nights, book clubs, restorative activities, one-day retreats, and more.

Some Take 5 Experiences are completely free, while others require a registration fee to help cover the cost of the experience. Space is limited, and advance registration is required—even for free experiences—so please reserve a spot for each person attending.

REFRESH: A One-Day Retreat for Caregiving Moms

REFRESH is a soul-restoring one-day retreat created especially for mothers and mother figures of medically complex and disabled children. Join us for a full day away from caregiving responsibilities to rest, create, enjoy delicious food, and connect with moms who understand this life.

The day will include coffee and conversation, a calming sound bath, creative workshops, breakfast, lunch, snacks, retreat supplies, swag, and plenty of thoughtful touches.

Before You Register

Each Take 5 Experience is designed for a specific group. Some are exclusively for caregivers, while others welcome children and the entire family. Please review the individual experience description before registering to see who is invited.
