At AHSID, we believe care should not be conditional or delayed. It should be rooted in the people who need it most. In our stories. In our struggles. In our healing.

For individuals living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa and related inflammatory diseases, the journey to care is often painful. Many go years without a diagnosis. Others are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left out of the conversation completely. The stigma, shame, and lack of access have done real harm.

We are here to change that.

AHSID is a patient-led nonprofit that centers historically excluded communities by offering culturally competent education, direct support, research partnerships, and affirming spaces. We create holistic programs that address the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual toll of HS.
