Across the United States, countless families are searching for their missing loved ones—many of whom are persons of color whose cases are too often ignored or miscategorized. At the Association for Intellectually Disabled Black, Indigenous, and People Oppressed by Color (AIDBIPOC), we are committed to ensuring these individuals are not forgotten.

Who We Are: AIDBIPOC is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization located in the Greater Chicago area. We are a civil and human rights organization dedicated to helping intellectually disabled Black, Indigenous, and people of color who are missing, exploited, or seeking justice due to racial disparities and inequities. Our mission is to support these vulnerable communities in overcoming obstacles created by systemic discrimination, inequity, and lack of access to justice.

Through community organizing, direct support services, partnerships, and family reunification efforts, we work to ensure their civil and human rights are protected, particularly within the justice and education systems.

Our Campaign: We are launching a nationwide billboard campaign to bring attention to the countless missing persons of color. These billboards will be a powerful tool for raising awareness and keeping the stories of missing individuals in the public eye. Our goal is to ensure that every missing person of color is seen and their case is given the attention it deserves.
