Aspiring Leaders of Tomorrow (A.L.O.T.) is a mentoring club at Columbia High School lead by teacher Mrs. Abiodun Banner. It encompasses Ladies of Leadership and Men with Purpose, and it focuses on equipping students with the skills needed to navigate high school, life, and future aspirations.

The club focuses on social-emotional learning, stress management, and mental health as well as academic achievement. Students meet weekly every Friday from 3:00-5:30 pm to collectively discuss and engage in a workshop geared towards one of the aforementioned topics. Occasional Wednesday meetings are held for SAT workshops and school/college readiness. Ms. Banner's classroom is always a welcoming spot for after-school homework help.

This year, over 65 students have participated in the club's activities. Ms. Banner estimates that club expenses run about $330/student per year. Students raised funds for the programming and events, which included the Butterfly Ball, Friendsgiving, and a holiday party. An Achieve grant was also received, which helped pay for supplies and sweatshirts for club members.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used for year-end festivities, including a Banquet this weekend, and another celebration to honor academic achievement.
