On April 27th, 2023 TD Foundation will be hosting our 1st Annual “A Night Under the Stars” Fundraiser and Silent Auction at the Fire House Gastro Park in Grand Prairie, TX. We anticipate approximately 150 guests at this event. The funds raised will go toward TD Foundation Youth Mentoring, Leadership programs, and other community events that will benefit the youth in Grand Prairie as well as our community. To make this event as exciting and extravagant as we hope, we will need your help!

TD Foundation is a local nonprofit started by Grand Prairie police officer, Takesha Dye. Officer Dye has been serving the Grand Prairie community for the past 10 years and has been a beloved School Resource Officer (SRO) for Grand Prairie ISD, for the past 7 years. In 2018, Officer Dye decided that serving as an SRO was not enough and felt that there was more for her to do within the community to help reach and positively empower more youth. During her time at various GPISD schools she has developed meaningful relationships with many educators, community leaders and students. She has seen firsthand the difference it makes when teachers, administrators, officers, parents, and the community are actively involved in the lives of students. It is through her passion for service that TD Foundation came to be, and now we are asking for your help and support in realizing her vision.
