Thanksgiving Community Outreach & Meal Service

Many of you have asked how you can help support this year’s Thanksgiving outreach—and we are deeply grateful. Your support is essential!

Meal Preparation
Cooking will begin on Sunday, November 23rd. Volunteers will assist with prepping, cooking, packaging, and delivering meals.
If you are interested in assisting with delivery, please contact Stacey M. at (916) 735-6702. Deliveries will be made in teams, providing meals to shelters, warming centers, and unhoused individuals across Sacramento and surrounding areas. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible.

Additional Outreach
Along with meals, we hope to include NA/AA meeting schedules. If you can help with printing and delivering schedules, please let us know.

Transparency
All receipts will be uploaded to our Facebook page for accountability and transparency.

Shopping & Donations
We are shopping primarily at Smart & Final, The Restaurant Store, Sam’s Club, WinCo, and Costco.
Gift cards are always helpful—and we welcome donations of turkeys and non-perishable items. A list of items needed is provided below. All donations can be dropped off at CSTL/Madhouse (8938 Madison Ave., Fair Oaks, CA. 95628) or The Palm House (5621 Palm Ave., Sacramento, CA. 95841).

2025 GOAL:

Serve 3,000 individuals and 15 families (last year we reached 2,200 individuals and 10 families).

Donation Needs:

$3,500 in funding
35 Turkeys
30 Hams
Ziploc Bags (Sandwich & gallon sizes)
Aluminum Foil
Bottled Water
Juice Boxes
Powdered Drink Mixes
Canned Green Beans or Corn
Pies
Potatoes (instant & fresh)
Cranberry Sauce
Rolls
Butter
Food containers
Cooking Spices (salt, pepper, garlic, etc.)
