Your donation will help us honor the first responders that have given their lives for our community by funding a Memorial Garden that will be located in front of Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office District 2 Headquarters next door to Fire District 1 on Airline Highway. This is my Eagle Scout project and is in cooperation with Sheriff Bobby Webre and the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. I believe that together we can accomplish this worthy cause.

UPDATE 6/9/2023

We have the concrete foundation poured! A HUGE thank you to Sorrento Lumber for donating the concrete for this project and to Hope Haven Marble and Granite for showing up in the Inferno hot weather to form and finish the concrete. These guys made it look easy and did such a professional job. This project has already had so many members of our community helping out. We just cannot thank everyone enough for the support!

UPDATE 6/2/2023

Jake and his fellow scouts were able to break ground today with Sheriff Webre for the foundation of the new Memorial Garden. We are so grateful for all of the encouraging words and support from the community.

UPDATE 1/13/2023
We just got these new progress pictures and I wanted to share them with you. This is ACTUALLY happening!

Ms. Melissa at Hope Haven was nice enough to do a rendering of how it should look when installed.

UPDATE 1/10/2023
Here is a picture of the 4 granite slabs that have been cut. I cannot wait to see them engraved and in person!

This photo shows how the idea evolved after getting Sheriff Webre's input. We also decided to put it against the back wall instead this blue section. I can't wait to show you the updated design soon!

This was my original plan.
