This Pride Month, Axelrad Beer Garden is giving back! All June long, a portion of proceeds from their featured Rad Drink, The Teacher’s Pet, will be donated to Out for Education to support LGBTQIA+ scholarships across Greater Houston.

On Friday, June 13, during Axelrad’s regular Happy Hour from 5 to 7 PM, members of the Out for Education board will be on-site to connect with guests, share our mission, and raise awareness about how you can support LGBTQIA+ students pursuing higher education.

The evening will also feature live entertainment from Noche de Cumbia and food from Boombox Taco Truck—a great night to relax, connect, and give back while celebrating Pride.

Stop by Axelrad anytime between June 1–30, sip with purpose, and help us invest in the future of queer students.

Out for Education is one of the most successful LGBTQIA+ scholarship-granting foundations in the United States, dedicated to the purpose of providing LGBTQIA+ scholarships to Houston-area LGBTQIA+ youth. Having granted over 350 LGBTQIA+ scholarships valued at $1.7 million dollars, Out for Education’s contribution to Houston’s LGBTQIA+ youth is fundamental to the continued development and re-affirmation of their self concept. Out for Education believes that, by assisting our LGBTQIA+ youth in their educations, we are providing a vibrant future for the LGBTQIA+ community.
