Dear Needed Supporter,

Both you and I know nothing is more critical than fostering young talent. The Valley View High School Crimson Regiment Band & Color Guard Booster Club seeks donations, financial support, and volunteers from individuals, businesses, and community organizations like yours. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that seeks to provide opportunities for students to have an enriching musical education and opportunities beyond what the local schools can supply. Unfortunately, we are not provided with the necessary funds to accomplish our goal, so we ask for your help.

We seek donations to help maximize the finances received through student participation fees and fundraising. Your donation provides students with performance opportunities, lessons, and 1-1 professional training. We compete against other schools with bands of similar size to us in field show competitions held in Southern California. Appearances place our students in the public spotlight, serving as musical ambassadors for Valley View High School, the Moreno Valley Unified School District, and, most of all, the city of Moreno Valley. In tandem with the Fall competition season, the Marching Band and Color Guard will perform their field show at several home football games, giving the general public a chance to experience our competition program at our home venue.

We have approximately 90 High School students involved in this year, a significant portion of our program this year. Some do not have the funds to afford their Fair Share Contribution, not including obtaining funds necessary for make-up ware, uniforms, and equipment. Many of the items they have now are worn down, torn, need repairs, or are not used to perform in a competition. Funding for this school has been forgotten and is greatly needed. Again, any contribution would be greatly appreciated by these students.
