The Down Syndrome-Autism Connection is a non-profit organization providing specialized outreach through education, support, and resources to over 2,000 families across the country who have a loved one with the co-occurring diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2007. Our mission is to serve families who are feeling alone and isolated by providing them with educational materials, support, and welcoming them to a loving, accepting community. We offer families hope, love and a place to belong with others who understand the journey.

One of the most important needs for parents of a child with a disability is obtaining valuable resources and information to help them navigate this complex journey. This year, the Connection reached out to some leading professionals on specific topics to meet the needs of our DS-ASD families, We ran two sucessful virtual symposiums, and our goal is to double that in 2024. In addition, we want to better reach and serve our Hispanic community by getting our information kits translated to Spanish this coming year.
