The Academy Youth Guard is designed for elementary and middle school students, ages 5-14 to prepare them for high school guard programs and marching bands. By introducing such elements as marching and drill, our young students also learn basic color guard skills and how to perform!

Directed by Jamie Warhus, our Winter Youth Guard begins in January and participates in the WGAZ circuit events, consistently bringing home the Champion title in the Independent Prep Division. Our Summer Youth Guard prepares the team to perform at The Academy Showcase in Juna and Drums Across the Desert in July.

We are asking our friends and fans to help support new performance equipment (rifles and flag poles) and to help offset the youth guard's rehearsal facility costs that are new to us this season.
