Sometimes, the next step starts with someone showing up.

This fall, a neighbor who had been living in his car took an important step toward finding a safe place to call home.

He knew what he needed. He had made the appointment and arrived early. But language barriers and a complicated application process made moving forward difficult.

That's when Ayman Sharif, a Community Navigator at Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County, walked alongside him.

Together, they worked through the paperwork, made phone calls and gathered the information needed to complete his housing application.

The decision wasn't in their hands, but he had taken an important step forward. And he didn't have to take it alone.

Every day, moments like this happen at Neighborhood Centers.

A teacher helps a child build a strong foundation. A mentor encourages a young person to discover their potential. A family support specialist helps parents navigate new challenges. A Community Navigator connects a neighbor with resources, opportunities and people they can count on.

This is what being All In, Neighbors looks like.

And your generosity helps make it possible.

Will you make a gift today to help more neighbors take their next step?

Together, we can create safe spaces where people belong, build relationships they can count on and show up for one another when it matters most.

Be All In. Give today.
