Earlier this month we took 16 national qualified runners across the U.S (Allensworth, CA --> Charlotte, NC) to compete in the 2024 AAU Cross-Country National Championships.  Amazingly, 10 of them ranked in the top 25 in the country individually and the Allensworth Running Club's Girls Team claimed 1st Place in the 7-8 year old division! We are the only team from California to bring home this title! 

We invite you to join us in recognizing the national winners and the Running Club as a whole at our Community Potluck on Wednesday Dec 18th starting at 6pm @ Allensworth Elementary School.

Thanks to donors like you, we have the privilege of taking our youth athletes to the AAU Cross Country National Championship located in Charlotte, NC this December. Considering lack of funding is what prevented our qualified athletes from participating in the Track & Field Nationals this past June, we do not take this opportunity lightly. With this experience, our team will not only see the culmination of their hard work at the finish line, but also get to experience an amazing traveling experience as a team – for some kids, this will be their first time ever traveling beyond the Central Valley!
