This night works much like a casino night with "funny money" wagering on videoed horse races. It is a very exciting evening with 6 races, great giveaways, silent auctions, and chances to win two fantastic trips one of which leaves that night to Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah for the weekend the other being a Staycation for a later date. You are encouraged to treat this event as if you were on your way to the Derby, Kentucky Derby that is. The fun and exciting hats for the lady's and a dapper look for the gentlemen, adds to the fun of being at the track. It will be held at the Meyer Ballroom at CMU, and catered by the college as well as a cash bar throughout the night. All proceeds go towards the operation of the Grand Valley Equine Assisted Learning Center and towards the building of an indoor arena.
