At Heartland Camps and Retreat Center, our Aquatic Center is a centerpiece of summer fun, providing campers and guests a cool, refreshing escape from the Missouri heat. Whether it's learning new skills, building friendships, or engaging in faith-based activities, the pools play a vital role in the Heartland experience.

After 11 years, it’s time to expand this beloved space.

The Aquatic Center Overview:

For younger campers – A safe, zero-depth entry pool with slides, play areas, water fountains, and ample space to splash and explore.
For older campers – A pool with basketball hoops, diving boards, slides, and exciting activities like volleyball, belly flop contests, and Bible study.
For everyone – A comfortable, well-equipped space to change, gather, and build lasting memories.

The Projects: Deck Expansion & Meeting Space

Build eight new changing rooms and add a 30’x60’ covered deck to provide a welcomed shaded gathering space for groups to meet before/after swim time and also for small group time.
Renovate the former pool house into a year-round meeting space for up to 40 people, complete with a restroom, kitchenette, and audio-visual equipment

This two-year capital campaign will bring our original vision for the Aquatic Center to life—enhancing the experience for future generations of campers and retreat guests.
